You recall the eighties suitable? The time of major hair and legwarmers, when teenage angst was written all more than your Television screen. I am not speaking about the classics like "The Princess Bride" and "Dirty Dancing" right here, even though each of these motion pictures deserve their due credit. I am speaking about the motion pictures that shaped a generation, when it was all about the kiss.

Who could overlook Kevin Bacon as Ren McCormick, dancing his socks off, in this classic about a town exactly where dancing is illegal?
Flashdance(1983) Starring: Jennifer Beals and Michael Nouri
Jennifer Beals created legwarmers a hit in the 80's with this Film about a lady who is a welder by day, and a stripper by evening.
Rapid Instances at Ridgemont Higher (1982) Starring: Sean Penn and Jennifer Jason Leigh
This Film tends to make you wonder if Sean Penn, now an academy award winner, appears back at his classic character of Spicoli and either cringes or smiles.
Superior Off Dead (1985) Starring: John Cusack and Curtis Armstrong
John Cusack plays Top rated man Lane Meyer in this comedy of errors.
Weird Science (1985) Starring: Kelly Lebrock and Anthony Michael Hall
Incredibly geeky Top rated good friends, Wyatt and Gary, attempt to actually "make" the great lady.
Some Sort of Amazing (1987) Starring: Eric Stoltz, Lea Thompson and Mary Stuart Masterson
This one particular of my all-time favored motion pictures. With so quite a few memorable characters, in particular Watts and Duncan how could it not be a classic? If you ever wonder exactly where the line "You look fantastic wearing my future" initially comes from, this is the Film.
Say something (1989) Starring: John Cusack and Ione Skye
The iconic moment when Lloyd (Cusack) holds up his ghetto blaster and blares "In Your Eyes" outdoors of Diane's window. Classic.
Sixteen Candles (1984) Starring: Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall
Poor Samantha (Ringwald) is horribly embarrassed in Quite significantly each and every teenage nightmare imaginable, on Top rated of everybody forgetting her sweet sixteen.
Quite In Pink (1986) Starring: Molly Ringwald and Jon Cryer
Poor girl falls for wealthy boy, and of course, The Duckman. Unique kudos go out to James Spader in this Film for becoming such a great creep.
The Breakfast Club (1985) Starring: Molly Ringwald and Judd Nelson
5 Incredibly distinct students get detention on a Saturday... and literally show up. Via their variations they locate they are both a basket-case, a criminal, a princess, a brain and an athlete.
Honorable Mention: Those did not make my Leading ten List but undoubtedly deserve to be talked about as 80's icon films: St. Elmo's Fire, Bill and Ted's Great Adventure and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. So there you have it, the ultimate 80's Leading Ten Film list.
